ACE is Growing Up
Over the last decade, our growth has superseded all expectations. The ACE Project is incredibly proud to share that we have served over 10,000 kids and adults across three cities. This remarkable milestone is a testament to the collective efforts of our dedicated staff, volunteers, and supporters. Together, we have made a significant difference, providing the resources and support needed to thrive. The changes outlined below are necessary for ACE’s growth and for everyone we serve.
New Mission and Vision Statements
After a months-long process of surveys, interviews, and focus groups, we are thrilled to share our new mission and vision statements, which better reflect ACE’s evolving identity and ongoing commitment to our cause.
Mission: To serve up positive youth development in Black and Brown communities through tennis, education, and mentorship while fostering a more just, compassionate, and resilient society.
Vision: We envision every child, regardless of background, having equitable access to transformative programs that advance socioemotional growth and serve as a catalyst for generational change. Through parent engagement and community empowerment, we aim to reframe adverse childhood experiences by enabling active children to excel in all aspects of life.
Revised Logo
In addition to our new statements, we refined our logo. This revision aims to enhance the visibility and impact of ACE services, ensuring it resonates more strongly with our communities and effectively communicates our mission.
As we implement these changes, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding. Though ACE’s capacity has grown, we remain a small team. In the coming months, we will update our platforms to reflect our evolved identity. While the website is under construction, there may be temporary disruptions or limited access to certain features. Rest assured, we are striving to make this process as smooth as possible and look forward to presenting a refreshed online presence that will better serve your needs.
