Celebrate 10 Years of ACE in Style
The Tennis & Ties Gala will honor an inspiring group of ACE Champions – past participants, founding members, coaches, mentors and community partners. Join us for dinner and dancing as we serve up a major celebration for those who have led the ACE Movement along our journey.

We are celebrating ACE’s 10 year anniversary at the Lester L. Long Fieldhouse (14700 Evers, Dolton, IL 60419) within Dolton Park District.

Join us on Saturday, October 7th from 6-9 pm.

The Tennis & Ties Gala mixes the active fun of ACE’s mission with a major flair.
First, we’ll play games on the tennis courts at our Sneaker Social with activities led by our team.
Next, we’ll gather in the Bay Room for a family-style dinner and awards ceremony recognizing our founders, years of service, and season champions.
Then, dessert will be served as DJ Michael Airhart lights up the dance floor.

This is your chance to mix active wear and formal wear as you see fit. Be sure to wear your dancing sneakers because we put the ACE in active!

To make this event accessible, there is a suggested donation of $50 per person, which can be made when registering. Table sponsorships are also available to help ACE cover the costs of the event, so we can continue providing high-quality programs. We appreciate your support!

Over a Decade ago…
Federal funding cuts eliminated after-school programs in District #148. Teachers, social workers, parents, and administrators banded together to find a solution. After connecting with leaders within the USTA, The Active Children Excel Project was launched to reframe Adverse Childhood Experiences and improve educational equity.
